Cocktail Tour Bachelor Party in Sofia
Cocktail Tour
Sofia has a real cocktail scene, and some of its best rooms are hard to find on purpose. A guide takes your group into 4 to 5 of them, orders two signature drinks at each stop, and explains what is in the glass. Somewhere along the route it becomes clear who knows their spirits and who has been guessing for years.
Build your partyWhat's included
- A cocktail guide who knows Sofia's bar scene from the inside
- A planned route through 4 to 5 high-end bars and speakeasies
- Two signature cocktails at every stop, plus tasting pours to compare
- Mixology demonstrations, then a lesson in mixing your own
- Entry to bars that turn walk-ins away at the door
- Recipe cards for every drink on the route, plus the technique notes behind them
Why groups book with us
- Sofia locals doing the planning
- One fixed quote for the whole trip
- The same planner from start to finish
- An itinerary you can still change
- Direct reservations with every venue
- Everything handled once you land
What you'll do
- Cocktail basics first - The guide opens with spirits, measures and method, so the group knows what is in the glass before the first one lands.
- Speakeasies with no sign - Some stops on the route have nothing on the door and do not seat walk-ins. The guide is how your group gets in.
- The house signatures - Award-winning bartenders pour their own recipes, made with spirits from the top shelf and ingredients the bar produces itself.
- Your turn behind the bar - A bartender demonstrates, then hands over the shaker and watches while the group tries it.
- The group's verdict - Everyone ranks the bars on the way to the next one, and one guy insists his kitchen at home would beat all of them.
What you'll need to bring
- Smart casual clothes, since some venues check at the door
- An interest in what you are drinking rather than how much
- A willingness to order things you cannot pronounce
- A ride home arranged in advance, or one guy staying sober

What the cocktail tour adds to a bachelor weekend
A cocktail tour gives the weekend something other than volume. The drinking is still the point, but it happens in small rooms with people behind the bar who can actually build a drink. Sofia's cocktail scene has grown fast in the last few years, and the bartenders here invent their own drinks out of local ingredients.
Going with a guide is what gets your group through the door. Several of the best bars in the city are speakeasies with no sign and no walk-ins, so you need a contact to get inside. Others pour drinks that need a line of explanation before they make sense, and the guide gives you that line.
You leave knowing things you did not know when the night started: how one spirit differs from another, what a technique does to a drink, which flavors work together. The mixology part is the piece that comes home with you, because the classics you mix are yours to make again.
For a group, the value is a setting that stays civilized while the guys still compete inside it. You rank the bars, dare each other into ordering something strange, and keep one conversation running all night.
Premium shows up in the room rather than on the menu: quieter bars, bartenders with time to work, drinks built carefully instead of poured fast. It suits a group that cares more about what is in the glass than how many.

Cocktail Tour FAQs
The questions groups ask before they book.
1. Do you need to know anything about cocktails first?
No. The guide starts with spirit types, mixing methods and flavor profiles, and assumes nobody in the group has thought about any of it before.
2. How strong are these cocktails?
Stronger than a standard bar drink, usually. The measures are exact and the spirits are good, so what lands in front of you is heavier and more layered. Pace it.
3. What if someone in the group only drinks beer?
Most of the bars on the route pour good beer and wine as well. Tell the guide, and that person gets pointed at something worth ordering.
4. Does a cocktail tour cost more than a bar crawl?
Per drink, yes. The extra goes on better spirits, bartenders who know what they are doing, venues that are hard to enter and the teaching. Fewer drinks, better ones.
5. How long is the cocktail tour?
3 to 4 hours across 4 to 5 venues, teaching, tastings and talking included. That is enough for a full evening without anyone getting too drunk.
6. Do you get to mix cocktails yourselves?
Yes. There is a practical section where the group mixes a couple of classics while a bartender watches and corrects what goes wrong. That part stays with you.
7. What is the dress code?
Smart casual at minimum: a collared shirt, decent pants, real shoes. A few of the venues are stricter than the rest, so dress for those.
8. Do you get the recipes to take home?
Most tours send everyone home with recipe cards for what you drank, plus notes on where to find the spirits and the equipment.
9. Can the group pick the bars or the style of drinks?
Yes. Tell the planner what the group is into: modern mixology, the older classics, one spirit, or one part of town, and the route gets built around it.
