Shooting Range Bachelor Party in Sofia
Shooting Range
Nobody needs previous experience with a gun. The instructor sets the stance and the grip, the range supplies everything else, and 50 to 100 rounds per person is enough to find out who can actually shoot.
Build your partyWhat's included
- Instruction from a range professional, starting with the full safety briefing
- A run through the guns on offer: pistols, rifles and specialty weapons
- 50 to 100 rounds per shooter, spread across several calibers

- Scored target contests and head to head shooting challenges
- Your used target sheets to take home, plus a certificate
Why groups book with us
- Sofia locals doing the planning
- One fixed quote for the whole trip
- The same planner from start to finish
- An itinerary you can still change
- Direct reservations with every venue
- Everything handled once you land
What you'll do
- Start with the safety brief - Handling, loading, and where the muzzle points at every moment. Nothing is loaded until the instructor has covered all of it.
- Work up through the guns - A pistol first, then rifles, then whatever specialty weapons the package includes. Most shooters find one that suits them.
- Shoot for a score - Paper targets rank the group. A tight cluster of holes counts for more than one round in the center.
- Take on the harder drills - The drills get more demanding as the session goes on, and holding a steady aim gets harder with them.
- Take the sheets home - The used targets belong to you. They fix the order of the group more reliably than anyone's memory of it.
What you'll need to bring
- Clothes you can lift your arms in
- Closed shoes with a grip sole, which no range treats as optional
- The patience to take a correction and shoot the same drill again
- A taste for competition, and no hard feelings about the final scores

Sofia shooting ranges: guns, instruction and scoring
A range gives a weekend something the rest of it lacks, which is a score. The ranges in Sofia are built to international safety standards, the lanes are staffed by experienced instructors, and the weapons on the rack cover someone who has never held a gun and someone who has shot for years.
The instruction is the part that stays with you. Stance, grip, breathing and trigger control get taught in that order, so the rounds go where you aimed rather than somewhere near the paper. Bachelor groups are regular business here, and the instructors keep a lane competitive without letting the discipline slide.
English is the working language on the lane. Bulgarian ranges are used to visiting groups, so the briefing, the corrections and the scoring all come in English. The buildings are modern as well, with ventilation, soundproofing and safety systems that do their job quietly.
Scores in a group rarely land where anyone expects. Steady hands do not announce themselves over breakfast, and the guy with the most to say about his aim is usually reading someone else's target by the end.
A paper target does not take sides. Every round leaves a hole, the count is there for anyone on the line to read, and the winner needs no defending. The sheets then go back to the hotel with the group.

Shooting Range FAQs
The questions groups ask before they book.
1. Do you need shooting experience?
No. The instructor assumes no experience at all and works through handling, stance, grip and aim before any scoring starts.
2. Which guns can a group shoot in Sofia?
That comes down to the package. Pistols are the base in most of them, with rifles and specialty weapons added above that. The instructor sets who gets what, going on experience and on what the group asks for.
3. How loud is a shooting range?
Loud enough that ear protection is issued before anyone reaches the lane. It cuts the noise to a level that is safe to stand in, and the instructor's voice still gets through.
4. What if someone is nervous around real guns?
It is common, and the instructors are used to it. They start small and add one step at a time. Nobody is handed a weapon he does not want to hold.
5. How many rounds does each person get?
Between 50 and 100, counted across all the weapons and drills of the session. That is enough for a full contest and for the improvement that comes after it.
6. Can the group shoot in teams?
Yes. Teams can run relays, the whole group can shoot a scenario together, or everyone can stay on solo accuracy scores. The format is picked on the day.
7. How safe is shooting at a Sofia range?
Instructors supervise every lane, the briefing comes before anything is loaded, protective gear is issued to everyone, and the rules are strict and enforced.
8. Do you get proof of your shooting?
Yes. You keep the sheets you shot, and many ranges add a certificate on top. It is the one souvenir of the weekend that settles an argument instead of starting one.
9. How long does a shooting session take?
2 to 3 hours in total. The briefing and the instruction sit inside that, not on top of it, and the rest is shooting.
